Todd Cook & The Rufous Whistlers

Todd’s emotive lyrics, earthy tones and raw appeal connect to a wide variety of listeners. His songs float from intricate folk fingerpicking styles to driving rhythms that stir the soul.

Based in East Gippsland, the band Martin Potts – Double Bass, Brent Hodgkins Drums- draws inspiration from the Rufous Whistler, a small indigenous bird that would sing out over the landscape when hope was slim and quiet. Todd Cook’s music is bursting with hopeful stories of regrowth and togetherness.
