Hip Pockets

Hip Pockets are a 10 piece R’n’B, Funk and Soul band including a 4 piece horn section. The band consists of some of Gippsland’s best-known musicians who enjoy coming together to play some of their favourite tunes.

Be prepared for a mixture of old and new tunes, heavily influenced by many of the great RnB, Funk and Soul artists like Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, Aretha Franklin, Chicago, Steely Dan and the Jacksons and modern takes by artists from the ‘Sing’ movies, Bruno Mars, Harry Connick Jnr and The Cat Empire.
